Returns Policy
Thank you for supporting my work! I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, if you are not, I am here to help.
1. Return Window
You have 30 calendar days from the date your order was placed to request a return. Please note that this is based on the purchase date, not the date you received the item.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, the following criteria must be met:
- Books: Must be in their original, unread condition. This means no spine creasing, dog-eared pages, writing, or damage to the cover.
- Merchandise: Must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.
Non-Returnable Items:
- Digital Products: E-books, digital downloads, and print-on-demand items (if explicitly marked as such) are not eligible for a refund.
- Personalized/Signed Books: Any books that have been personalized with a dedicated inscription or signature at your request are non-returnable.
- Final Sale Items: Any items marked as “Final Sale” cannot be returned.
3. Return Process
If you need to return an item, please follow these steps:
- Email Me: Contact me at info@alexjameseccleston.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
- Wait for Confirmation: I will review your request and send you instructions on where to send your item.
- Ship the Item: You are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back. I strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. I cannot guarantee that I will receive your returned item.
4. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item and the status of your refund.
- Approval: If your return is approved, I will process the refund to your original method of payment.
- Timeframe: You should receive the credit within a certain number of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies (usually 5-10 business days).
- Shipping Costs: Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
If you received a damaged or defective item, please email me at info@alexjameseccleston.com immediately with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. I will work with you to arrange a replacement or full refund.
