As the year draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on what has undoubtedly been one of the most exciting and fulfilling years of my career as an author. 2024 has brought incredible opportunities, new challenges, and achievements I could only have dreamed of twelve months ago.
Signing with Next Chapter Publishing
One of the most significant moments of the year came in February, when I signed my first publishing agreement with Next Chapter Publishing. It was a dream come true and a huge milestone in my journey as an author. Even better, this wasn’t just a one-book deal—Next Chapter Publishing will be releasing my next three novels, marking the start of an exciting new chapter in my career.
The Release of Forbidden Shores
By October, the first of these novels, Forbidden Shores, was published. This explosive psychological thriller, my fifth novel in total, is, in my opinion, some of my best storytelling yet. Writing Forbidden Shores was an incredibly rewarding experience, and seeing it in the hands of readers has been nothing short of exhilarating. Your response to the book has been amazing, and it’s been a privilege to share this story with you.
North Paradise Reaches a Milestone
Another highlight of 2024 was seeing my crime thriller North Paradise surpass a remarkable milestone: 500 Amazon reviews. With an impressive average rating of 4.3 out of 5, the response to North Paradise has been both humbling and inspiring. Knowing this story has resonated with so many of you reminds me why I love writing and storytelling so much.
A Record-Breaking Writing Year
This year, I’ve written more than ever before—three novels in a single calendar year. That’s a personal record and something I’m incredibly proud of. Each book represents countless hours of hard work, passion, and dedication. It’s been a whirlwind, but the creative energy has been thrilling and deeply fulfilling.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As I look ahead to the new year, I’m filled with excitement for what’s to come. Novel number six—my most ambitious story yet—is just around the corner. I can’t wait to share it with you and to continue exploring new characters, worlds, and narratives that challenge and inspire me.
